Founded in 1997, HZ & Associates (HZA) is a firm which specializes in providing project services in the construction industry, in engineering projects and in the oil and gas industry.
These services include: Quantity Surveying, Procurement Advice, Financial Management of Projects & Cost Planning, Tender & Contract management & Documentation, Cost Management, Final Account, Project / Technical Auditing and Project Management, and Facilities Management.
The firm's mission is “To provide value added services with highest standards of professionalism, skills and integrity in matters related to the economics and management of construction, which achieve Client’s satisfaction”.

HZA is a partnership of qualified local professionals with extensive experience in implementing projects for both public and private Clients. Both the partners have served in the Public Works Department, Ministry of Development Brunei Darussalam, and have been involved in many major projects during their service with the Government.
HZA is supported by qualified and motivated professionals, technical and administrative staff both from the region and locally.
Directors
Hajah Hajijah bte Awang Haji Salleh has over 20 years experience in the construction industry. She is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1996. She graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying from University of Reading UK in 1991. She is a corporate member of Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei since 2002.
After graduating, she worked for 5 years as a Quantity Surveyor in the Public Works Department, Ministry of Development, Brunei Darussalam. She was involved in a few important major projects during her service with the Government. She is now the Managing Quantity Surveyor of HZ & Associates, where she is responsible to oversee the day to day tasks and activities of all Quantity Surveyors and technical staff of the firm
Haji Zulkipli bin Haji Abdul Hamid has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. He is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1984. He graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying from Bristol Polytechnic UK in 1981 and MSc Construction Management from University of Bath in 1996. He is a corporate member of Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei since 1984.
After graduating, he worked for 15 years as a Quantity Surveyor, Chief Quantity Surveyor and Assistant Director of Development at the Public Works Department, Ministry of Development, Brunei Darussalam. He is now the Managing Partner of HZ & Associates.
Haji Zulkipli was elected as the President of Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei from 2012 to 2015.
